Ella Lopez has been one of my favorite characters on Lucifer since the very beginning, and I love her even more than when I first met her in the pilot episode. For me, she’s what makes the show worth watching. She’s funny, vulnerable, smart, and strong; she’s basically everything I’d want to be if I was a TV character! So here are 10 reasons why I love Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez! Why I love Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez

Her style

We’ve seen her in many different hairstyles, ranging from long and straight to high ponytails. However, she always manages to maintain a professional look. If you want to try her style out for yourself, we recommend investing in a 1-inch curling iron that is thin enough to fit through your hair without making it bulky. This will allow you to curl each strand of hair rather than heating your entire head at once and will also let you decide on a few different styles.

Her attitude

She is easily one of my favorite characters on any TV show or movie. Her attitude and intelligence make her a force to be reckoned with and she never backs down. She is unique, strong, funny, fast-thinking, independent and even sexy at times. There’s just something about her that makes me smile every time she comes on screen.

Working with Tom Ellis

Tom Ellis is a wonderful partner to work with; he’s funny, kind and very professional. What impressed me about Tom was his ability to keep his cool even when we were racing against time or under pressure. He also has a brilliant sense of humour which makes filming much more enjoyable and stress-free. We still crack up laughing when recalling our one scene in ‘Lady Parts’ where we had to sing our hearts out in an LA karaoke bar!

Her relationship with Dan Espinoza

It’s not often that you see a Latina character on TV who is in a healthy, mature relationship with a man. Dan Espinoza showed up in season 3 as Ella’s love interest and he was perfect for her! He respected her work, trusted her and had wonderful interactions with his son (Dan Jr.) from his previous marriage. Fans were excited to see how their relationship would develop and were shocked when it ended so abruptly in season 4.

Playing both an angel and demon on the show

If you’re wondering why Rae-Rae Azrael came back so often to visit Ella, maybe it has something to do with her role on Lucifer. While she plays a part in helping our main character solve crimes and discover what’s going on behind closed doors in L.A., Ella also helps Rae-Rae track down humans who are due to die.

Her chemistry with D.B Woodside

They have an amazing chemistry that really lights up any scene they are in together. It’s a lot of fun to watch them bounce off each other and show so much respect and friendship towards one another. The way they play off each other is just such good acting on both parts. It makes you forget that they aren’t really sisters!
