It’s official! Actor Stephen Graham has been cast in Peaky Blinders as Hayden Stagg! This announcement comes just weeks after the news that the British actor will appear in the upcoming American version of Peaky Blinders, which will air on Netflix and star Sam Neill as Thomas Shelby. Although Graham’s role hasn’t been announced yet, it’s likely that he’ll play an antagonist to Cillian Murphy’s Tommy Shelby in either season 4 or season 5 of the popular BBC show. Who Is Stephen Graham
Stephen Graham is a Scottish actor and producer. He has appeared in films such as Snatch, Dead Man’s Shoes, The 51st State, Gangster No. 1, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Outlaw, Episode VII: The Force Awakens and Four Lions. Stephen Joseph Graham (born 3 August 1973) is an English actor. He is best known for playing Andrew “Combo” Gascoigne in the film This Is England (2006) and its television sequels This Is England ’86 (2010), This Is England ’88 (2011), and This Is England ’90 (2015). His other film roles include Tommy in Snatch (2000), Shang in Gangs of New York (2002)
The history behind the character
After Tommy Shelby’s (Cillian Murphy) Season 1 arrest and incarceration, his brother Arthur (Paul Anderson) spent a lot of time being a back seat general for The Shelbys. When Tommy finally returns home, Arthur is resentful about having to cede control back to his brother.

Hayden Stagg is Arthur’s pet project: he convinces Tommy to invest in expanding their horse racing business by adding illegal bookmaking operations on top of that business. With Hayden as CEO of Mayol Distributors, Cillian Murphy will have more than enough screen time to go around in Season 3.
How he will affect Tommy Shelby
He is a war veteran from Afghanistan, who lost his face in a grenade attack and now wears a metal mask. He has come to Birmingham because he has found out about Tommy’s (Cillian Murphy) gang and thinks that Tommy will be able to supply him with guns. [Source: Birmingham Mail]
Why he’s perfect for this role
He has shown his acting talent in many movies like: Boardwalk Empire, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, TFF 2013 film The Awakening and many more… He is also good known for playing a character called Malc in HBO’s Game of Thrones. Even though he is not that famous yet I can’t wait to see him on screens again as Hayden Stagg from one of my favorite shows ever: Peaky Blinders. I have high hopes that he will fit in perfectly with all those other amazing actors they chose to be part of it like Sam Neill (who plays Chief Inspector Chester Campbell), Aidan Gillen (who plays May Carleton), Jack Rowan (who plays Alfie Solomons) and Tom Hardy who plays Thomas Shelby.
