The Boys, Amazon’s upcoming series based on the comic of the same name, tells the story of an elite CIA black ops team who are tasked with keeping their idyllic, suburban hometown safe from some of the most powerful people in the world and their superpowered cronies. If you’re not familiar with The Boys or its mythology, don’t worry; here’s everything you need to know about all of the characters who will be appearing in season 1. In 1993 he appeared as Mr Pink along side Steve Buscemi who played Mr White in Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs.

Laila Robins Portrays Grace Mallory

Laila Robins is an American actress. She is known for her work on Homicide: Life on the Street, Boston Public, House of Cards, and The Leftovers. On The Boys, she plays Grace Mallory, the head of the CIA’s black ops division. Mallory is a ruthless leader who will stop at nothing to achieve her goals.

Tamsin Egerton as Starlight / Annie January (seven sentences): Tamsin Egerton is a British actress and model. She is known for her work in the films Chalet Girl and Johnny English Reborn. On The Boys, she plays Starlight / Annie January, a young superhero who joins the Seven. Her superpower is shooting blasts of light from her hands that can stun people or ignite objects.

Cameron Crovetti Portrays Ryan Butcher

Ryan is one of the boys who Vought has chosen to be part of the Seven. He is incredibly young, and it is clear that he does not have the experience that the other members of the team do. This often gets him into trouble, but he is a good-hearted kid who just wants to do his best. Additionally, Ryan is one of the few members of the team who doesn’t seem to have any powers. As such, he often feels like an outsider on the team.

Katy Breier Portrays Cassandra Schwartz

Schwartz is a character on The Boys. She is a recurring character, appearing in seven episodes of the series. Katy Breier portrays her.

 Schwartz is the estranged wife of Jack Quaid’s character, Hughie Campbell. The two have a daughter together, who Schwartz has custody of.

 In the show, Schwartz is shown to be working as a waitress in order to make ends meet. She is depicted as being kind-hearted and caring, despite her difficult circumstances.

In the comics, he is killed by The Homelander during a battle with another super-powered being. In the show, it is hinted that he may have survived. When his brother Andromulus is shown in the hospital after being attacked by American soldiers, Supersonic can be seen hovering outside of the building watching what was happening below. It seems like he did not want to be seen by anyone so he flew away quickly as soon as someone looked up at him.

Matthew Edison Portrays Cameron Coleman

Coleman is a CIA agent who recruited Butcher to join the agency. He is loyal to his country, but does not always follow orders. He has a wife and son. In the show, he is portrayed as a competent agent who is struggling with his personal life. After being betrayed by an unknown party for carrying out a politically sensitive operation in Russia, he finds himself ostracized from the CIA and removed from active duty. His first contact with Team Bravo comes when they capture Berrigan following her botched attempt on General McMahon’s life in New York City. When she denies knowing any information about where Mother may be hiding out, Coleman convinces MacGyver to let him interrogate her in order to find out if she knows anything useful.

In order to get access to Berrigan without having the authorities intervene, Coleman arranges for her release under Witness Protection Program custody so that she can testify against Mother in court.

Matthew Gorman Portrays Todd

Todd is a member of the Seven, Vought International’s premier superhero team. He is cocky and arrogant, often spouting off about how great he is. He is also shown to be something of a womanizer, hitting on Starlight whenever he gets the chance. However, despite his flaws, Todd is a skilled fighter and a valuable member of the team. When we first meet him, he had already been working for Vought for some time when Billy Butcher approaches him with an offer to join the new Seven. After being kicked out of the Seven, Todd goes solo and ends up in jail after attacking one of Cassius Chiappelli’s drug dens. Here he comes into contact with a young boy who is gay but doesn’t know it yet. After realizing that this boy might have potential as a hero, Todd tells him all about being gay and shows him just what it means to be strong and true to oneself before returning to prison.

Todd was last seen appearing at Billy Butcher’s funeral where he reaffirmed his commitment to protect people from those who would abuse their power, becoming one of the few members of the cast not affiliated with any particular side in the conflict between Vought International and Sanctum.

Liyou Abere Portrays Janine

Liyou Abere is an actress who has appeared in episodes of The CW’s The 100 and iZombie, as well as the Syfy series Dark Matter. She plays Janine on The Boys. Janine is a member of the organization known as the Seven. She has the power of invisibility, which she uses to help the team with missions. Abere was born in Ethiopia and raised in Canada. It feels like I’m coming full circle, said Abere of her role on The Boys. I’m Ethiopian by birth but Canadian by heart.

Abere graduated from George Brown Theatre School in Toronto, Ontario and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from Queens University in Charlotteville, Ontario. In addition to acting, she also enjoys singing and writing poetry.

Laurie Holden Portrays Crimson Countess

Crimson Countess is a recurring character on The Boys. She is the former leader of the Seven, and one of the most powerful supes in the world. Her powers include super strength, invulnerability, flight, and pyrokinesis. She is played by Laurie Holden. A native of Houston, Texas, she moved to Los Angeles when she was 15 to pursue an acting career. She landed her first movie role in 1994 at age 17 as Ralphie Parker’s older sister in A Christmas Story starring Jean Shepherd. In the 90s she starred in films such as Mighty Joe Young and Lost Souls and guest-starred on TV shows like ER before being cast as Andrea Harrison (Karen) for three seasons on The Walking Dead. When not working, she spends time with her family or volunteering with animal rescue organizations across North America and beyond.

Sabrina Saudin Portrays Also Ashley

Ashley is a recurring character on The Boys. She is a member of the Church of the Collective, and she is often seen with her boyfriend, Also Ashley. In addition to being a recurring character, Ashley also guest-stars in seven episodes of the show. Saudin does an amazing job portraying Ashley’s devout religious beliefs, as well as her loyalty to the Church of the Collective. Sabrina never takes the spotlight away from those around her. Katia Winter Portrays Nina “Little Nina” Namenko

Nina Little Nina Namenko is a recurring character on The Boys. She is a young Ukrainian girl who befriends Homelander after he saves her from being trafficked. Little Nina is played by Katia Winter.

Winter has said of her character, She’s sweet and vulnerable and doesn’t really understand the danger she’s in.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Winter teased that viewers will see more of Little Nina in season 2, saying, I think we’ll see her development continue and she might even pop up in places you wouldn’t expect her to be. There are also other things she does in the second season that give us a hint about what happens to her afterwards. I don’t want to spoil anything but I’m excited for people to find out!

Nick Wechsler Portrays Blue Hawk

Nick Wechsler plays Blue Hawk, one of the recurring characters on The Boys. He is a member of the superhero team known as The Seven. Blue Hawk has the power of flight and can shoot lasers out of his eyes. He is a skilled fighter and often uses his powers to help The Seven defeat their enemies. When we first meet him in Season 1 Episode 3, he tells Billy Butcher that he doesn’t trust Starlight because she doesn’t seem like she wants to be there with them.

Tyler Williams Portrays Yevgenny

Tyler Williams portrays Yevgenny, one of the Russian mobsters who works for Viggo. He is first introduced in season 2, episode 3 No One Goes to Heaven. Williams was born in Toronto, Canada and is best known for his work on the show Degrassi: The Next Generation. In addition to his work on television, he has also appeared in films such as Assassination Games and American Pie Presents: Beta House. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Williams said that he had always wanted to play a character with an accent. It was kind of a dream come true, said Williams about getting cast on the show.

Tyler acts as one of Viggo’s right-hand men and has a boss mentality when it comes to doing business. However, despite being tough on the outside, there are times where we see him get emotional like when finding out from Dillon that Charlie is gone forever or when Lizzie agrees to go out with him only for sex. He does not know what it means but it made him happy so you never know…

Frances Turner Portrays Monique

Turner has appeared in episodes of shows like Supernatural,NCIS: Los Angeles, and Hawaii Five-0. On The Boys, she plays the role of Monique, a Vought employee who is loyal to the company. Monique is a recurring character, appearing in seven episodes so far. In the episode The Self-Preservation Society, Monique is introduced as a member of Vought’s public relations team. She is tasked with helping to clean up the image of Homelander (Antony Starr), who has been caught on camera killing innocent civilians. Monique does her best to spin the situation, but it’s clear that she doesn’t believe Homelander is truly a hero. It’s also implied that Monique might be attracted to Homelander. Her story arc comes to an end when she becomes disillusioned with the company and is forced out of her job after the rest of Vought discovers that she was leaking information about their operations.

Jack Doolan Portrays Tommy TNT

Tommy is a recurring character on The Boys. He is an Irishman who loves to fight and drink. He is also one of the show’s main antagonists. He has been in several episodes, including The Pilot and Irish Goodbye. His most recent appearance was in episode 3 Pine Barrens. In this episode, he lost his leg after being shot by Hughie’s new girlfriend Annie during a confrontation with the group.

Kristin Booth Portrays Tessa TNT

Tessa is a fiery young woman who loves her job as a stuntwoman on the set of The Boys. She’s always game for a challenge, and she’s not afraid to speak her mind. TNT is one of the show’s recurring characters, appearing in several episodes throughout the series.

Kristin Booth is a Canadian actress who has appeared in TV shows like Orphan Black and Haven. Her character Tessa is described as being fiery with an independent spirit.

Jack Fulton Portrays Lenny Butcher

Lenny is the main protagonist of the show. He is a Butcher who owns his own business. Lenny is a tough guy who doesn’t take crap from anyone. He is also a loving father and husband. Lenny is played by Jack Fulton.

Sandy Thompson as Sandy Butcher (six sentences): Sandy is Lenny’s wife and the mother of their two children. She is a stay-at-home mom who does everything for her family. Sandy is a kind and caring person who always puts her family first. Sandy is played by Sandy Thompson. Steve Clevenger as Steve ‘The Enforcer’: Steve has been with the club since day one. He is an enforcer and works at a refinery. Steve can be described as big, burly, rough, and gruff. Despite his appearance, he’s actually quite smart with mechanical skills that rival that of most engineers. Steve is also in charge of making sure things run smoothly inside the clubhouse when Dolarhyde isn’t around. Played by Steve Clevenger.

Christian Keyes Portrays Nathan Franklin

Nathan is a charismatic African-American man who is the leader of the titular Boys. He is a former soldier who now uses his skills to fight crime. He is a skilled fighter and marksman, and is always looking out for his team. Despite being introduced as a villain, he has since become one of the most popular characters on the show with many fans coming from different demographics across the world.

Sean Patrick Flanery Portrays Gunpowder

Flanery is an actor known for his work on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, Powder, and The Dead Zone. He appeared in seven episodes of The Boys as the character Gunpowder. Gunpowder was a vigilante who helped the Boys take down Vought. He was an expert marksman and explosives expert. After their mission with Vought was over, he had sex with Annie January (the mother of one of the boys) and became her new boyfriend. In episode 8, he died in Annie’s arms after she shot him when he refused to stop going after bad guys.

Jim Beaver Portrays Robert “Bob” Singer

Jim Beaver plays Robert Bob Singer on The Boys. He is a series regular, appearing in all seven episodes of the first season. Bob is the father of protagonist Jack (played by Antony Starr), and grandfather of Danny (played by Finn Jones). He is a widower, and his wife died when Jack was young. Bob is a retired police officer, and now works as a security guard at a local mall. He is a kind and loving father, but has a bit of a temper.

Ryan Blakely Portrays Mindstorm

Ryan Blakely is an actor who has appeared in episodes of The CW’s Supernatural and iZombie. He portrays Mindstorm on The Boys. Mindstorm is a powerful telekinetic who can move objects with his mind. He is a member of the Seven, and his abilities make him a formidable foe. It remains to be seen how he will work alongside Walter Chess (the new King) now that Queen Maeve is gone.

Ryan Blakely is best known for portraying Enoch on Supernatural for 12 episodes as well as Detective Joe Kenda in a six-episode series called True Crime Files.

Blakely also had roles in Quantico and iZombie.

He attended high school at Biola University, where he studied theater and film production before moving to Hollywood to pursue acting full-time after graduation.

Karen Fukuhara as Female Supes / Kimiko Miyashiro (seven sentences): Karen Fukuhara is a Japanese-American actress who is best known for her role as Katana in Suicide Squad. Fukuhara plays the roles of Female Supes and Kimiko Miyashiro on The Boys. Aya Cash played the character of Klara Risinger, a.k.a Liberty and Stormfront, on The Boys. She appeared in seven episodes total, with her first appearance being in the season one episode The Female of the Species. Cash’s character was a prominent member of the superhero group known as the Seven. Simon Pegg Portrays Hugh Campbell Sr.

Pegg portrays Hugh Campbell Sr., the father of main character Butcher. He is a former special forces operative and works as head of security for Vought International. Pegg was attracted to the role because of the show’s dark sense of humor, which he found similar to that of his work on the comedy series Shaun of the Dead (2004). The actor has said in interviews that he was drawn to the project because it feels grounded in reality. What appealed to me about this one was the way that they were exploring global issues with an alternate lens—using superheroes who have gone rogue and lost their moral code, Pegg told Deadline. That’s something I can relate to.

Pegg made a cameo appearance in Season 1 as Dickie Bennett Jr., son of Richard Dickie Bennett (Marc Macaulay) who also appears later in Season 2; the elder Bennett had previously appeared on Alias.

Malcolm Barrett Portrays Seth Reed

A young African-American man, Seth is the newest member of the Church of the Collective. He is quiet and shy, but has a good heart. He is trying to find his place in the world and is drawn to the Collective because of its message of peace and love. Barrett does a great job of playing Seth as a sweet, earnest character who is searching for answers. It will be interesting to see how he interacts with other members of the church that are portrayed with more depth than he gets so far. Seth is also dealing with some issues from his past – specifically, guilt about being absent when his father committed suicide and the fact that he left an abusive home situation. But there’s hope for him too! Even though it takes him time to speak up, once he does, it seems like Seth can be a powerful voice for change.

Shantel VanSanten Portrays Becca Butcher (voice)

Shantel VanSanten has been cast as Becca Butcher, the wife of Homelander (played by Antony Starr). Butcher is the head of Vought International and the mother of Ryan, one of the main characters. Though she is a recurring character, she only appears in flashbacks and voiceovers. In an interview, VanSanten said that she was super excited to be a part of the show. I’m always looking for new opportunities, she said. I had never seen the original series so I went back and watched it before I auditioned. She also talked about what it was like working with her on-screen husband, saying It was really cool to work with Tony because he has such a different energy than me.

Brett Geddes Portrays Termite

Termite is a young boy who befriends Hughie after he joins the Seven. He is small for his age and was born with deformities that resulted in him being bullied by other kids. Despite this, he is a brave and loyal friend to Hughie. He is also one of the few people who knows about Hughie’s powers. Termine has been seen most recently in Seven, where he helped break Hughie out of prison.

He appears again later on in the episode as part of Merete’s guard detail when she tries to kill Collette as revenge for her father’s death.

Brett Geddes portrayed Termite throughout the first season and returned again for season two playing another character called Molech; it is not known if these characters are supposed to be related or if they just happen to have similar names.

Kyle Mac Portrays Tony

Tony is a high schooler who is trying to find his place in the world. He is a bit of an outsider and is often made fun of by the other kids. However, he is a good friend to Sam and always stands up for him. He also has a crush on Emily, but he is too shy to tell her. Tony’s biggest concern at this point is that his parents are not going to be able to afford their house anymore because of the death of both Tony’s grandfathers. So, he will have to leave town and go live with one of them. He does not know which one yet. They are coming down to visit and then they will decide together where they want him to live. They agree it is best if Tony goes live with the dad since he lives closer to him than the mom does.

After talking about it for awhile, it seems like everyone agrees on this idea- except for Tony himself. He thinks living away from everyone will only make things worse. He feels as though he would miss out on so much that would happen while he was gone- especially now when they all get along so well and really enjoy each other’s company.

Jasmin Husain Portrays Silver Kincaid

Silver is a young woman who comes from a wealthy family. She is a student at Harvard Business School and is dating Mark. Silver is extremely ambitious and wants to be the CEO of her own company one day. However, she has a dark side and is willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Her motivation for doing so comes from her feeling abandoned by her father and wanting him to recognize how hard she has worked. Jasmin Husain is originally from Toronto, Canada. She currently resides in Los Angeles where she works as an actress. Previously, she had acted in several commercials and independent films before becoming a series regular on The Boys. When asked about the show, Jasmin stated that the content was something I wanted to be involved with. In addition to acting on-screen, Jasmin also serves as a writer on the show.

Abigail Whitney Portrays Moonshadow

Abigail Whitney portrays Moonshadow on The Boys. Moonshadow is a recurring character who has appeared in seven episodes of the show. She is a member of the superhero team known as the Seven. Whitney has also guest-starred on shows such as Supernatural and Once Upon a Time. Other notable roles include Michelle on New Girl, Grace Evans on Arrow, Kara Danvers/Supergirl on Supergirl, Julie Cooper (substitute) on Grey’s Anatomy, Lisa Snart/Golden Glider II

Ann Cusack Portrays Donna January

Ann Cusack’s character, Donna January, is a CIA operative who is sent to monitor the activities of the titular Boys. She is a recurring character in the show, appearing in seven episodes. Cusack’s performance has been praised by critics, with her being called one of the most scene-stealingly watchable aspects of the show. Cusack returned for season two as a guest star in three episodes, before again returning as a series regular for season three. She appeared in all ten episodes of season three, becoming integral to the plot.

In season four she continued to appear regularly but only made sporadic appearances in seasons five and six.

She is set to return for the seventh and final season.

Jordana Lajoie Portrays Cherie Sinclair

Sinclair is the President of Vought International and the main antagonist of the series. She is a ruthless businesswoman who will do whatever it takes to increase her company’s profits, even if it means sacrificing human lives. Lajoie does an excellent job of portraying Sinclair as a cold-hearted, power-hungry individual. Sinclair is the PR manager for Vought International, the company that produces Compound V. She is ambitious and will do whatever it takes to get ahead. In the show, she is romantically involved with Homelander.

Joel Labelle Portrays Swatto

Swatto is a Canadian actor, best known for his work on the television series The Boys. He has also appeared in guest roles on Supernatural and NCIS: Los Angeles. Swatto’s character is a recurring one on the show. Other recurring characters include Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid), Billy Butcher (Tommy Flanagan), Frenchie (Anthony Starr) and A-Train (Rutger Hauer). Paul Reiser Portrays The Legend

One of the most prolific actors of our time, Paul Reiser is no stranger to playing the role of a father figure. In The Boys, he plays The Legend, a retired superhero who acts as a mentor to the show’s protagonist, Homelander. Though he’s retired from superheroics, he still has plenty of wisdom to impart on the younger generation.

You might recognize him from his roles in Aliens, Mad About You, or Diner. He also played Dr. Mark Greene in ER, so you know he can play a dad!

Eric Bauza Portrays Buster Beaver (voice)

Buster Beaver is one of the main characters on The Boys. He is a beaver who is always building dams. He is voiced by Eric Bauza. Buster is always getting into trouble and has to be saved by his friends. He is also very forgetful. Eric Bauza is the voice of Buster Beaver, one of the main characters in The Boys.
