But it’s all of those combined with my idea of how I want her to be. In one episode, Monica becomes entangled in a fight with the Avengers when they get on each other’s nerves while trying to find out what their next move should be. And because she doesn’t have any powers and relies on her wits to get herself out of trouble, that made for an interesting dynamic because it wasn’t about brute strength or superpowers, but using your mind, Parris said.
