A couple of months ago, Lucifer fans were given a first look at the season 4 finale and were able to see that Inbar Lavi would be playing Eve – the first female human being ever created. She’s also the mother of Cain, so you can imagine how much that made us happy! However, we didn’t know much about Eve other than her status as Cain’s mother and her former relationship with Lucifer – until now! Who was Eve?
The world’s first female human who recently left Heaven, Cain’s mother and former lover of Lucifer. She eventually becomes a bounty hunter and gets married to Maze. As for her character on Lucifer, fans can expect to see more action from Eve compared to her comic book counterpart. She is a very, very capable kind of warrior in many ways, executive producer Ildy Modrovich told TVLine at San Diego Comic-Con 2017. But she is also someone who is looking for redemption. The showrunner went on to add that she will cross paths with Dan if that’s what it takes. [Dan] actually makes it much easier for her because she doesn’t have to track him down; he finds her, Modrovich shared.
How does she look like?
What’s it like working with so many guys? I hear that a lot. [laughs] Well, I have no problem being surrounded by men on set! They’re professional and fun to work with. The boys, who play my bodyguards, are really good friends of mine now, so that makes it even more comfortable. All jokes aside though, we’re not stuck together; everyone has their own trailer. What can you tell us about your role in Lucifer?
How would you describe Eve? Sure! Lucifer is filled with secrets and mystery; an unfinished puzzle box of half-truths, who aren’t always available to be questioned. So when someone comes along who is completely upfront about everything and has nothing to hide, it’s refreshing…and sexy!
What is about her personality?

She is highly independent and a woman with high moral values; however, she is willing to do anything to achieve her goals and always puts herself first. Although she initially appears to be serious and cold-hearted, but over time it is revealed that she has a kind heart. She has stated several times that even though she had been in love with Lucifer, he will never again have any place in her life so there are no hard feelings between them after his betrayal during his time on Earth.
Why did she leave heaven?
She left heaven because she hated being told what to do by God and his angels. The angel who gave her life, Uriel, suggested that she talk to Lucifer about it. And that is how Lucifer and Eve’s story started. Her best quality is her no-nonsense attitude and strong will for independence, but it also makes her come off a bit mean at times. Her worst quality is her stubbornness which can lead to dangerous situations for those around her.
1) Introducing Eve
At face value, it may seem like Cain’s mother (played by Inbar Lavi) is a little too familiar with Lucifer for her own good — and she is — but there’s more to that story. You see, Eve used to be a woman in love with Lucifer, until she broke things off because she didn’t want to tempt him from his duties in Heaven. At some point in time, she left Heaven, along with other angels who opposed their leader’s behavior. Now she is on Earth and it looks like she’ll become a bounty hunter who works alongside Dan Espinoza aka Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt). As for whether or not we’ll see her rekindle an old flame with Lucifer? Only time will tell…

The moment I got to LA, Tom Ellis, who is just incredibly charming with his British accent, invited me for tea at Four Seasons hotel with him and Lauren German. We sat down for hours just talking about anything from art to philosophy to music.
3) Fun facts about the episode
Here’s what you need to know about tonight’s season finale and how it will affect the rest of season 5. (Will we see more of LUCIFER?) Lucifer is gone. As expected, he made his escape with Chloe, Dan and baby Ella in tow. But he also left his crown behind in Hell to prove that he isn’t coming back. Now that Lucifer is leaving Hell with no intentions of returning, do we still have a show? It was never confirmed whether or not Tom Ellis would return next season or if they’d recast another actor to replace him.
4) Q&A with Executive Producer Ildy Modrovich
Welcome back to Lucifer! You joined the show at its start and you’ve been with it all these years. What has that journey been like? When you first got involved, did you know it would become such a big hit? When I first came on board, I had no idea that Lucifer was going to be a phenomenon. The pilot really intrigued me and I knew that Tom Ellis would make an incredible title character; however, it was not until our very first Comic-Con (where we screened Episode 101) that my jaw dropped! After that panel and after seeing how audiences responded, I had chills and knew we were onto something special.
Is Inbar Lavi married?
It’s definitely a fun, interesting dynamic between us. I don’t know if it will develop into something more romantic or not, but we definitely have an interesting dynamic. It’s exciting to play that, because there are moments when Lucifer can be himself around her and not try to seduce her in any way. It’s just good that they have a friend in each other right now – someone who understands them and who they trust to confide in. That bond is only going to strengthen over time.

We did ask her if she has any Super Powers from playing such an interesting character on Lucifer and she said maybe while laughing. I’m happy I got a chance to play an Angel. We then asked her why she wanted to be a part of Lucifer and she said The show is amazing.
