Why did Lucifer rebel?

The reason for Lucifer’s rebellion is never explicitly revealed, but showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich have confirmed that it was because God refused to accept him as his son. In fact, before he fell, Lucifer believed he was destined to be more than just an angel. He believes he could have been God’s equal, as well as his lover. When God refused to see him as anything more than a servant, Lucifer rebelled.

What happened in Heaven?

Lucifer’s story was intriguing, as he appears on Earth as an influential business owner in Los Angeles while secretly running Lux (the hottest nightclub in town) to serve his own ends.
