What I hope to achieve

Achieving European champion status at only 20 years old is an incredible achievement. Kamila Valerievna’s bid for next year’s Worlds and 2022 Olympics may look promising, but it isn’t going to be easy; she will have to compete in 2022’s world rankings, which will likely be stacked with top-level talent from Russia, Canada, and other contenders.

How I got started skating

As an 8-year-old, Valieva was recruited by coaches Natalia Linichuk and Gennadi Karponosov for their school. As such, she moved from her hometown of Moscow to Khanty-Mansiysk. From that point forward, Valieva trained at their club under their guidance and remained there until 2016 when she changed coaches to Elena Buianova and Sergei Dudakov.

My best results

I am a 2019 World bronze medalist, 2018 European champion, 2017 Ice Challenge winner. I won silver at three World Championships. In addition to that, I became national champion in Russia six times.
