What I liked about the series

This series is incredibly historically accurate. Every detail is taken into account, and you can tell that a lot of time and effort was put into it to ensure that everything was as true to life as possible. It’s not often you see such attention to detail in a modern-day drama. I also enjoyed how they showed how Elisabeth tried to help her husband through his depression while she struggled with her own mental illness. I think it really helped me get an understanding for what it must have been like for both of them. And Devrim Lingnau did an amazing job portraying Elisabeth; she really embodied what I imagine Elisabeth would be like if she were alive today. Her performance was so convincing that at times I forgot she wasn’t actually Elisabeth!

5 Worst Parts from The Empress

If you already have some knowledge on her life and want to see what she would look like if she were played by Devrim Lingnau, then go for it!
