Everything you need to know about the pilot
The pilot episode of the CBS show, which aired on September 25, 2018, introduces us to FBI agent Elizabeth Keen (played by Megan Boone) who goes undercover as a law student in order to find a criminal mastermind named Rebecca. Ebonée Noel Portrays Kristen Chazal
Ebonée Noel stars as Kristen Chazal, a Special Agent and an Intelligence Analyst for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Her character is a new addition to the series who has been on the show since its first season. She was recruited by the bureau after earning her law degree from Harvard University. She served three years with the New York State Attorney General’s Office before joining the NYPD in 2015, where she served for four years in both Community Affairs and Crime Analysis before transferring to FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C., where she currently serves in intelligence analysis at Cyber Command Center.
Connie Nielsen Portrays Ellen Solberg
The pilot episode of the series introduces Special Agent in Charge Ellen Solberg, who is based on a true-life agent. The show’s producers chose Connie Nielsen for this role because they thought she was the perfect person for it. While being an American actress best known for her work in Gladiator (2000) and Mission Impossible II (2000), Nielsen has also had experience playing police officers and criminals, which made her a perfect fit for the character of SAC Solberg.
Sela Ward Portrays Dana Mosier
Sela Ward is an American actress and producer. She is best known for her roles as Karen McCluskey in the 1980s sitcom Throb and as Deborah Fields in the 1990s drama series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. In 2019 she joined the cast of ABC’s Designated Survivor as Madeline Harper DVM. Ward has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award four times, with one win.
She has also won a Golden Globe Award and was nominated for an Academy Award.
Ward has also had a successful career on stage with leading roles in Broadway productions such as The Glass Menagerie (1987) and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1993).
Alana de la Garza Portrays Isobel Castille
Agent Garza is portrayed by Alana de la Garza. The character was introduced as a guest in season one, then promoted to regular in season two, replacing Mosier as IAD Supervisor. She is mostly known for her role on the CBS police drama NYPD Blue. She also played recurring roles on Law & Order and All My Children, among others. In addition to acting, she is an accomplished singer-songwriter and has performed with Tony Bennett at Carnegie Hall. She has written music for singers like Lila Downs and Linda Ronstadt.
John Boyd Portrays Stuart Scola

Julian McMahon plays Jess LaCroix, an experienced FBI agent who works at a Baltimore field office. Although he’s married, he’s sleeping with his protege Megan (Alana de la Garza), who’s new to their work together. His character is described as ex-military and incredibly strong-willed and intimidating.
Keisha Castle-Hughes Portrays Hana Gibson
Castle-Hughes is best known for her performance as Paikea Pai Apirana in 2002’s Whale Rider, which earned her widespread recognition and many awards, including a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Actress.
Castle-Hughes is currently set to reprise her role as Hana Gibson, a technical analyst on The FBI television series.
How did FBI do in ratings against other shows?
The show has been met with mixed reviews, but has seen a slow but steady rise in ratings. The series premiere had an average of 7.87 million viewers, ranking it as the most watched show of its time slot and the fourth most watched show for Thursday night primetime. The second episode saw a significant drop in viewership, only drawing an average of 5.36 million viewers and being surpassed by repeats of The Big Bang Theory and Grey’s Anatomy.
What was interesting in each episode?
In episode one, the audience is introduced to Special Agent Hannah Wells (played by Priyanka Chopra) who is an expert in Indian affairs. She was first seen negotiating a hostage situation in Mumbai, India. At the end of this episode, she takes part in a training exercise on an airplane that gets hijacked.
What happened in season 1 finale?
In the season 1 finale, Kelley (Jeremy Ratchford) is confronted with a shocking truth about his daughter, and finally comes to terms with what she has done. In an interview with Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders star Brian Dennehy who plays Attorney General Jim Barr, it is revealed that Barr fought for justice for more than a decade before he was able to put Lyle and Erik Menendez behind bars.
Where will season 2 take place?
The second season of the show is set to take place in New York City, which means that it will be a departure from Chicago. Wolf says that this decision was made because New York is such an iconic city and has so much history. It seemed like a great opportunity for us to go there for the second year and explore different parts of the bureau, he said. He also noted that it’s important for us not to get trapped into one setting if we can help it.

The third season of FBI is set to air on November 17, 2020 To May 25, 2021. It will consist of 15 episodes. The show follows a team of local law enforcement and federal agents from across the U.S., who are brought together in order to solve crimes at the federal level. FBI focuses on such cases as kidnappings, crimes involving weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, cyber-crime, bank robberies and other violent crimes.

Shantel VanSanten Portrays Nina Chase
G. Callen is described as the best of the best, and a former Navy SEAL who left behind his decorated career to become an agent with NCIS, joining Eric Beale and Nell Jones. Formerly married, he was discharged from active duty following an act of misconduct that resulted in a civilian casualty in Afghanistan. He has now returned home only to find himself divorced and struggling to reconnect with his estranged wife and daughter.
