Blanchett played three different characters with short hair that year: architect Lizzie Creevy opposite Bradley Cooper’s amnesiac CIA agent Edward Wilson (The One Percent); criminal mastermind Supreme Leader Snoke alongside Benicio del Toro’s DJ; and Roman matron Lucilla opposite James Franco’s dying Hollywood star Tommy Wiseau (The Disaster Artist).
