Based on real events in the financial world, King of Stonks focuses on the narcissism and megalomania at the heart of Wall Street traders and the double standards that run rampant in their work. The show portrays the underbelly of finance, where money rules everything and everyone lives by different rules. It’s not what you know but who you know that makes or breaks business deals — and often times friends can be just as dangerous as enemies if they have opposing business interests. The Author

The Wall Street Journal calls him the king of banking. Forbes calls him the titan of Wall Street. And who knows if they’re right? He does. But you’ll find out next year when his name appears on TV screens across America. His life was just a script waiting to be written until, now, it’s been brought to life by Hollywood’s best and brightest. We can’t tell you much about what happens next because we don’t want to ruin it for you. We will say that there are plenty of twists and turns along with a plot that keeps viewers guessing. We won’t say any more but we will say one thing: This series is going to be epic!

About King of Stonks

Behind every villain there’s a story. And behind that, there’s another story… The concept for King of Stonks was inspired by true events in which countless people lost their life savings after being scammed by traders. The series includes several fictitious accounts, each representing a different aspect of financial misconduct and fraud that has been experienced by victims over decades. When put together, these stories create an environment in which nearly anyone could lose money – including you. Many believe it is a result of greed that makes us human, but even with its origins dating back as far as ancient Egypt, greed itself has had a long history on Wall Street and Main Street alike—and it always will.

Why this story deserves to be told as a series

I’m here to talk about my new mini-series, King of Stonks. It will be premiering in 2022 on ABC Network. My sources say that it will be hosted by Oprah Winfrey, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet. The show tracks a group of friends through their rise and fall as we discover who turned into who, with plenty of nail biting suspense along the way. It all started with a fateful poker game where our protagonist made a wager he couldn’t afford to lose; at stake was his dream house. He lost and was put into debt by a number he had no hope of repaying unless he found an unlikely solution.

What we can expect from this series

It will premiere around 2022, it’s based on real events that took place in modern world. The plot revolves around three main characters. One is a genius whose arrogance and egotism knows no bounds. A man who has made money by taking advantage of other people’s problems, persuading them that his magic medicine can solve all their troubles. Yet he does more harm than good because not only does he sell medicine with severe side effects but also takes advantage of its clients’ vulnerability and naiveté. This will be a lesson for those who let themselves be fooled by charming promises from big shot businessmen who only care about making a profit at any cost and aren’t afraid to cross ethical boundaries… especially when it comes to money!

How you can help

The first episode of King Of Stonks aired last night on UBS and though it was a little bit confusing for some fans, it looks like many are starting to warm up to the new series. The creators have given us a little insight into what makes them tick and we must say, they’ve got big dreams for their show. They hope that even after 20 years from now fans will still be able to enjoy King Of Stonks. So far there’s not much talk about when season two might start shooting, but we’re sure if we all play our part in promoting their show they’ll give us more details soon!
