Kumail Nanjiani Portrayed Somen ‘Steve’ Banerjee
Kumail Nanjiani is set to star in Hulu’s upcoming drama miniseries, Welcome To Chippendales, playing the role of Somen ‘Steve’ Banerjee. He’ll be joined by Selma Blair, who will play Wendy Banerjee. The Chippendales Murders – A Dark History
The Chippendales Murders tells the story of the murders of two male exotic dancers, Steve Kaplan and Michael Laughlin, by their boss, Paul Snider. The book is written by K. Scot Macdonald and Patrick MontesDeOca. It is based on actual events that happened in 1982 and was published on January 12th, 2019.. The killings were committed at the El Rey Theatre located in Northeast Los Angeles where the men were performing as part of a national tour that visited sixteen cities.
The motive for the murder was never uncovered. It’s possible that it could have been related to money; however, there is no evidence to support this theory.

In the early morning hours of July 4th, 1991, three men in masks burst into an upscale San Francisco nightclub called Chippendale’s, bound and gagged six people inside and then set fire to it.

Many who were involved in the crimes died violent deaths. In 1984, John Gacy was convicted of 33 murders and executed for 12 of them. On December 14, 1994, Richard Ramirez died of liver cancer on death row at San Quentin State Prison. On November 20, 1989, Ricky Kasso committed suicide by gunshot in his prison cell at the age of 32. Between May 3 and 6, 2003, Jeffrey Dahmer was beaten to death by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver while awaiting trial for rape and murder.
