Born on February 9th, 1945 in Los Angeles, California to Irish immigrant parents. She grew up with her five siblings in Washington, D.C. and New York City before moving to London with her family when she was 11 years old.

A Breakthrough with Rosemary’s Baby

In 1965, she married Frank Sinatra’s associate, record producer, arranger and conductor André Previn. They had three children before divorcing in 1979. In 1980, she was introduced to Eastern mysticism by her friend Mia Hammett. There followed a more focused involvement with Soka Gakkai International during which time she donated $1 million to buy land in Africa for a new Peace Center; it is now called Mia Farrow Peace Center and lies at Soka University’s site.

In 1991, Farrow starred in Woody Allen’s film Shadows And Fog. In 1996, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in her performance as Rosemary Woodhouse. In 1997, director Wes Anderson cast her in his film The Royal Tenenbaums. She appeared in Tim Burton’s 2001 film Planet Of The Apes and then she acted with Alec Baldwin again in 2002’s Martin Scorsese film Gangs Of New York. In 2004, she had a supporting role opposite Matt Dillon in Crash. From 2006 to 2007, she had a recurring role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Dr.

She married Frank Sinatra when she was 21 years old in 1966, but that ended in 1970. They had one daughter together, actress Mia Farrow (born in 1968). She then had a relationship with Andre Previn from 1973-1976. In 1978, she married André Previn, who was nineteen years her senior; they divorced two years later. In 1980 she met Woody Allen who also wrote and directed films such as Annie Hall (1977), Manhattan (1979) and Hannah & Her Sisters (1986). They married in 1987 and started dating shortly after meeting each other again. They have one son together named Satchel O’Sullivan Farrow born on August 4th 1987 although some sites say he was born on June 15th 1988.
