I love superhero movies, and I’ve seen every single one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, of all of the superhero films I’ve seen, The Batman has the best balance of plot and character development, action sequences, and humorous moments. In my opinion, it’s far better than other superhero movies from 2012 like The Amazing Spider-Man or The Dark Knight Rises . In fact, it even manages to outdo recent releases like Captain America: Civil War or Deadpool . Why do I believe that The Batman is the greatest superhero film ever made? The Batman is the Greatest Superhero Film Ever Made

Directed by Jon Watts

The film was directed by Jon Watts, with a screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, from a story by Terrio and Snyder. Additional filming took place in Chicago. Production also took place in various other locations including Pinewood Studios, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England; Detroit, Michigan; Smiths Falls, Ontario; Morecambe Bay, Somerset; Glasgow and Los Angeles.

Written by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon

In 2008, Joel Schumacher made a terrible film of The Dark Knight. Warner Bros called Zack Snyder to reboot it in 2012 and make a great film out of it. In 2017, Robert Pattinson was chosen to play Batman. Joss Whedon was given production duties for two weeks in London and Los Angeles before Snyder arrived back from his vacation in Italy. Chris Terrio had been hired to rewrite Whedon’s script by Whedon’s friends and began work on his directorial debut. He couldn’t get a hold of Patrick Nolan despite calling all numbers he could find for him on IMDBPro so he wrote an e-mail directed at him about how much he loved his dad’s movies and how great it would be if their movie could be as good as any of them are.

Cast includes Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman

As most of you know, Affleck has a long history with DC Comics. He was Christian Bale’s mentor in The Dark Knight Trilogy, and was eventually replaced as Bruce Wayne when Nolan rebooted his trilogy after 2008’s The Dark Knight. I think Robert Pattinson will bring an incredible amount of credibility to The Batman as he did to Twilight as Edward Cullen. I’m sure his acting skills will draw viewers into his film career more than ever before and that audiences will relate to him on a deeper level because of it. His portrayal of Stephenie Meyer’s main character made Twilight bigger than anything else in its category and I have no doubt he’ll do it again with his role in The Batman.

Stars Josh Gad as Lenny Luthor

Marvel’s rival to DC Comics has produced some good superhero films, but none can match The Batman. Although similar in tone and appearance to The Avengers, Warner Bros’ latest blockbuster hits just as hard as its competition with action, comedy, romance, and an array of characters sure to please any audience member. From Gad’s hilarious performance as Lenny Luthor (Marvel’s answer to DC villain Lex Luthor) to Robert Pattinson’s iconic rendition of Bruce Wayne/Batman, there isn’t a dull moment. Now all that needs to be done is wait for Gad’s return in 2032’s Superman: World’s Greatest Detective!

Inspired comic book arcs such as Endgame, No Man’s Land, Knightfall and others

Endgame was a popular comic book story arc published by DC Comics under their Elseworlds imprint. Written by Neil Gaiman and starring an alternate-reality Batman, it tells of a battle with a vastly superior force (the Joker) that takes place over a long time period throughout Gotham City, requiring Bruce Wayne to train himself and his allies in order to prepare for Joker’s assault on Gotham. No Man’s Land was a comic book crossover storyline published by DC Comics in 1999 which ran through most of the titles of DC’s regular line of superhero comics. It depicted what happened when Earth was without Superman, Wonder Woman, orBatman following The Final Night storyline.

Opening weekend box office results

After spending $250 million making it, The Batman debuted in theaters and took home a strong $65 million. It also made a killing internationally, adding another $100 million to its total gross. As of September 19, 2018, The Batman has grossed $254.5 million worldwide. Due to its enormous budget and disappointing box office results in North America, analysts predict that Warner Bros. will lose at least $75–100 million on their investment in The Batman.

Film reviews

Many people rank Tim Burton’s 1989 film Batman as one of Hollywood’s greatest superhero films. The movie has an 82% Rotten Tomatoes score, meaning it was well-received by critics. It was also a box office success, earning $251 million worldwide on a $35 million budget and ranking among the highest-grossing films of 1989.

Audience response (Rotten Tomatoes rating at release was 86%, later increased to 90%)

The audience response to The Batman was positive, with a rating of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Many praised Affleck’s performance as Bruce Wayne / Batman. Matt Goldberg of Collider called it an extremely satisfying experience, and IGN’s Joshua Yehl stated that it is an excellent film. Also, Toby Emmerich, President and Chief Content Officer of Warner Bros. Pictures Group said, We are thrilled to see audiences reacting so positively to Zack’s innovative vision for a new kind of superhero movie. As well as claiming it was one of their highest openings outside a Harry Potter or Christopher Nolan movie.

Box office grosses

With a production budget of around $180 million, The Batman will likely need to gross at least $750 million to break even. At that level, it could be a challenge. The only superhero film released in 2017 with a similar production budget was Justice League ($300 million), which ended up earning less than Superman Returns ($391.7 million). Wonder Woman had a $149-million budget and earned $821.8 million worldwide.

Nomination chances for 2019 Academy Awards (Oscar Nominations are announced in January 2019.)

Oscar nominations are voted on by approximately 6,000 members of The Academy. To vote for Best Picture and other Oscars (categories such as Best Actor, Best Actress, etc.), you need to be a member of AMPAS. You can become a member in one of two ways: by being invited, or by soliciting votes from your industry peers. There are five categories in which one movie can win, they are Best Picture, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress. In order to be eligible for an Oscar nomination or win any other category all members must first have seen that film, otherwise they cannot vote on it at all – no exceptions.

Background

Warner Bros’ The Batman Is The Greatest Superhero Film Ever Made. It’s hard to pinpoint one single movie that constitutes the greatest anything, but if you’re looking for a superhero film with an interesting storyline and exceptional character development, look no further than Warner Bros’ newest blockbuster, The Batman.

Why the movie was good

I’m a huge fan of The Dark Knight. Christopher Nolan’s vision of Batman is, in my opinion, by far and away superior to anything we’ve seen on film. The acting was phenomenal (Christian Bale will always be my favorite Bruce Wayne), as were all of the special effects. But what really makes it stand out above its peers is that Nolan gave us more than just a superhero movie; he made something that transcended genre while still having everything you could want from a good comic book adaptation.

Why this movie deserves an Oscar

Movies aren’t just about money. They are about art, music, and celebrating what it means to be human. Some movies stay with us forever, not because of their box office numbers or special effects but because they speak to something deep inside of us. The Dark Knight did that for me and so many others in 2008. It was a deeply emotional experience that showed us how far we have come as a society while also offering hope for what we can achieve in our future as humans. It did all of these things with heart and soul and an impeccable soundtrack. And not only did it do these things, but it also created an indelible character named Bruce Wayne who has become one of my greatest heroes alongside Superman and Captain America—just to name a few!

How it fits in with today’s culture

Although it’s a few years away, The Batman should go down as one of the greatest superhero films ever made. Many great superhero films have been made in recent years and many more are surely on their way. However, there’s no denying that our society has become obsessed with superheroes lately.

Q & A

Every month, we’ll be sitting down with a new filmmaker to discuss one of their films. Today, we have something special in store for you: a Q&A with one of our favorite directors on one of our favorite characters! Meet Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen), director of next year’s The Batman! *** Hi Zack, thanks so much for talking with us. We are thrilled to have you here today. Can you give us an overview of what The Batman will be about?

Why do none of the Batman movies follow the comics?

The problem with all these Batman movies, from my point of view, is that they’re just not comic book accurate. These are characters and stories that have decades worth of history to them and filmmakers seem to think you can just ignore that. They act like if they throw in a few Easter eggs here and there then fans will be happy. But no one wants to see a movie about a billionaire playboy who beats up bad guys!

Does the Batman calzone come without pepperoni?

This past weekend, I saw The Batman. There are not enough adjectives in my vocabulary to describe how impressed I was by DC Films’ latest offering: it was visionary, stunningly crafted, and moved with a verve that matched its title character’s physical dexterity. In short, it has easily usurped Marvel Comics’ The Avengers as the best superhero film ever made (yes, even better than Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy). Here are some reasons why.

Name of the song in the Batman Time Lapse Trailer

Did Batman break a militia arm?

These days, no superhero film can be great without a distinct movie villain. For example, when Marvel’s The Avengers was released back in 2012, many critics praised Tom Hiddleston’s Loki as one of greatest movie villains of all time. Going off that precedent, it seems safe to say that Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman is going to be incredible on-screen, assuming he doesn’t break a militia arm or two first!

Who is the villain in Batman?

The Joker, created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, first appeared in 1940 in Batman #1 as an unnamed character known only as the Joker, which was credited to be written by a writer known as Smith. The character’s true identity was revealed five months later in Detective Comics #168 (November 1940) in which he also appeared for the first time. Since then, with over 200 subsequent appearances to his credit, including such spin-off series as Superman vs.

Will there be a sequel to The Batman 2022?

There will be a sequel to The Batman. On January 24, 2017, Ben Affleck announced that he would no longer direct The Batman due to a scheduling conflict, but still remain as both an executive producer and write and direct another solo film with DC Films co-head Geoff Johns entitled The Flashpoint Paradox. It was reported that while Affleck had dropped out of directing duties, he would still star in and produce any potential sequels to Justice League Part One. Warner Bros.

Who is Joker in The Batman 2022?

The Joker is a fictional supervillain created by Bill Finger, Bob Kane, and Jerry Robinson who first appeared in the debut issue of the comic book Batman (April 25, 1940) published by DC Comics. Credit for creation of The Joker has been disputed; Kane and Robinson claimed responsibility for the Joker’s design, while acknowledging Finger’s writing contribution. Although his role in supervillainy is minimal compared to his counterpart’s as a criminal mastermind, he has had several animated and live-action depictions.

Who killed Thomas Wayne?

This movie looks into a Gotham in which Bruce Wayne does not become Batman. Thomas Wayne becomes Batman and dies in an alleyway, taking down his killer but at great cost to himself. Gotham City falls into chaos, and Bruce Wayne has no choice but to don his father’s cape and cowl to keep order.

Who is in jail with the Riddler in Batman?

That’s a silly question. The Riddler doesn’t have enemies that go to jail with him, he just has confederates who try to rob banks and catwomen on his behalf. He’s not there because he’s a criminal, he’s there because he has mental issues and violent tendencies. For someone who does have a jailhouse full of enemies, you should be asking about The Joker!

Did the Riddler know who Batman is?

This was a very hard question, but it’s crucial to Batman’s origin story, so I had to study. And then…I got it! Riddler asks if anyone in Gotham knows who he is. Gotham City Police Commissioner James Gordon answers, No one knows what you look like under that mask. Your victims don’t see your face—they never even hear your voice, they just hear that hideous laugh of yours and then they die laughing.
