Minions is the summer’s animated blockbuster, and it’s no surprise why: not only does it showcase the voices of Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, Steve Coogan, and more, but it also has Gru’s bumbling sidekick minions taking on the starring role of their own movie! But as some fans have noticed while watching Minions: The Rise of Gru, one member of the villainous Vicious 6 gets much more screen time than the others. I’m talking about Svengeance (Dolph Lundgren), naturally! Svengeance Is On a Roll in Minions: The Rise of Gru

Storyline analysis

In ‘Minions,’ we learn that Gru is not exactly a one-time bad guy. In fact, he was once on part of an organization called The Vicious 6. And while they are no longer together, it seems as though Savement is still loyal to his old friend. And, by his own admission, he has some unfinished business with him. Perhaps if Gru shows up at Waverly Place? We’d be thrilled to see Dolph Lundgren coming back for more sequels! Let’s just hope that Brian Cox doesn’t pop up again … otherwise it might ruin something about his legacy and legacy sequel opportunities (see ‘Spider-Man’ villains). Maybe Lundgren and Cox can share screen time with Kevin James again?

Character analysis

Dolph Lundgren is someone who has been on my radar for years, but now that I’ve seen him give such an entertaining performance as Svengeance, I’m ready to admit that he has become one of my favorite action stars.

While there are many reasons why it’s incredibly enjoyable to watch Dolph Lundgren – from his menacing appearance to his charismatic personality – watching him play a villain who happens to be a roller skater was by far one of the best things about seeing him in Minions. Roller skates have always made me laugh, but they’ve also always been fun and functional when they’re used correctly. Seeing Svengeance use them with great skill and precision while laughing maniacally makes me appreciate them even more than before!

Movie review/summary

Despicable Me 3 is, essentially, Despicable Me 1 and 2 on steroids. For newbies, it’s worth seeing these films back to back if you haven’t seen them yet. If you have seen them, it’s hard to imagine why someone would watch #3 without having seen 1 and 2. Dolph Lundgren plays Sid Starr/ Svengeance (voiced by Steve Carell), a member of The Vicious 6. One thing is for sure about Dolph as he does his part to be one (or six) despicable bad guy(s): He keeps his clothes on – but he certainly looks like he could take most people out with one hand tied behind his back.

DreamWorks’ Minions is set to hit theaters on July 10, 2015. The animated film features stars like Sandra Bullock and Jon Hamm as Scarlet Overkill and Herb Overkill respectively. These two villains are out to take over the world, but will the pesky little yellow henchmen be able to stop them? In this clip from Entertainment Tonight , actor Dolph Lundgren discusses his role as Svengeance – one of the members of The Vicious 6 – and how he went about bringing the character to life.

Is Dolph Lundgren a PhD?

Does Dolph Lundgren have PhDs? This needs to be verified before we can move forward. Thanks, John Q Public. So let’s go with that then: Has Lundgren earned any degrees? If so, when and where did he earn them? Did he ever say if he planned on pursuing another degree at some point in his life? How much did those PhDs cost him in total (estimated)? What is involved with earning a PhD anyway? What kind of classes do you take to become a doctor/PhD holder (both are listed as synonyms here, but they’re not exactly equal – which one is it?) Again, what classes did Lundgren take while attending either high school or college for these things.

Who is Dolph Lundgren’s wife?

I have no idea. I don’t think he married that girl. Lundgren has had four wives, but you’ll get different answers depending on who you ask, so it’s hard to say which one is still his wife at any given time. Maybe there are two Mrs. Dolph Lundgrens out there, like Charlize Theron in Young Adult. But when asked by some Swedish magazine recently, he said his wife’s name was Nina Persson…then later said it wasn’t her because she’s married to a guy named Bert Karlsson. That would make sense since they just had a baby together last year…she can get away with calling herself Mrs.

Is Sylvester Stallone a genius?

What is sometimes overlooked, however, is just how incredible Sly Stallone has been as a filmmaker. Admittedly he hasn’t always hit home runs with his movies (Rocky V anyone?), but for every five bad movies Stallone’s made he’s also made one good movie. That’s just math and logic there; what isn’t as simple to figure out is whether or not that makes him a genius. I mean, no one calls Christopher Nolan or Michael Bay brilliant directors. Even Sam Raimi doesn’t get that moniker despite making all three Spider-Man movies we all love, not to mention my personal favorite Evil Dead II and its amazing prequel, Army of Darkness.

Does Dolph Lundgren have a 160 IQ?

A good way to judge Dolph Lundgren’s intelligence is by his hobbies. He has been playing chess since he was ten years old and speaks multiple languages, including Russian, Swedish, English, German and French. Before breaking into acting and stunt work, he was trained as a chemist. Science was my favorite subject in school because it required you to be logical and use your brain rather than just sitting back and listening to someone else talk, he said.
