Stephanie Styles has been on Broadway before, but never as the lead in a musical. That changes with Roundabout Theatre’s upcoming revival of Kiss Me, Kate, which opens February 13 at Studio 54 and stars Styles as Lois Lane/Bianca opposite Kelli O’Hara (War Paint), Will Chase (Something Rotten!), and Corbin Bleu (High School Musical). Styles originated the role of Ainsley in Loot on NBC, based on the film The Italian Job. Stephanie Styles as Ainsley – Broadway’s New Leading Lady

On Stage in The West End

The Roundabout Theatre Company production of the Cole Porter musical Kiss Me, Kate opened on December 13, 2012. Directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall with a book by Linda Woolverton, the musical tells the story of actors who are performing Shakespeare’s The Taming of The Shrew while they rehearse for their upcoming show Kiss Me Kate.

She is also famous for her performance in the web series, Bonding (2019)

The character of Bonding is a rare portrayal of an Asian American female teen. Stephanie said, I think it’s so important for people to have visibility and representation in media. In this day and age where so much attention is put on how diverse the world can be, I’m just happy to be able to add my voice. It was great because everyone was from different parts of the world, she added. And we had lots of different personalities.

When she was 6 years old, she gave her first performance on-stage in the play, Scrooge at TUTS

I was always doing something that I wasn’t supposed to do, she recalls. I would sneak into my mom’s closet and put on her high heels, or I would jump off of the couch onto the floor. By age six, Styles had given her first performance on-stage in TUTS’ production of Scrooge. It was such a magical moment for me because it was one of those things where I got to be somebody else, and that helped me out so much.
