If you watched Lucifer , you’re probably already familiar with the talented Scarlett Estevez, who plays Lucifer’s daughter, Trixie (real name Beatrice) Espinoza, over the course of the show’s four seasons. Acting with Tom Ellis
In season 1, she plays Beatrice Trixie Espinoza, a child that Lucifer and Mazikeen take a liking to. She started out as more of a background character, but became more important as time went on.
Getting into character
It was super intimidating, says Scarlett Estevez. I read in some interviews with [showrunners] Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich that one of their goals was to not make it a kid show. You don’t want to come in there throwing candy all over the place, you have to balance yourself out by being a real actor because they have faith in you that you can do it.

How was it working alongside Lauren German?
Lauren has been amazing, she’s such a good actress, I really just love how she brings so much life to Chloe. It’s also great to see her as a mother on set and be able to share that bond with her. We all have so much fun together that working can become more like hanging out with your friends than work. Plus having Tom Ellis around is always an added bonus because he’s hilarious!
Her dream role
I would love to play a superhero, but that’s definitely an adult role, so I’m not sure if that would ever happen. But if I could star in a show as a superhero when I get older, then that would be awesome.
The most embarrassing thing she did on set
Oh gosh, I have so many. One of her worst moments was when she first met Lucifer. I didn’t know that it was a hug scene, so we were supposed to be really close to each other, but I got freaked out because my nose touched his chest. It was really awkward for everyone, she said.
