Trying to live up to your father’s legacy can be difficult even when you are living in the same house with him, but what if you had to live thousands of years after your father and then deal with your own children and grand children trying to live up to you? That’s what Elrond faces in The Lord of the Rings, and while Robert Aramayo didn’t have to face that challenge in real life, he did need to bring it to life on screen. Robert Aramayo on Elrond: pressure to live up to his father’s legacy and the choice to be immortal.

Who Is Robert Aramayo

Elrond is a popular character in the Lord of the Rings series and Robert Aramayo was cast as Elrond, a half-Elven architect and politician who faces pressures due to living up to his fathers legacy. He doesn’t appear in The Hobbit but he is set to have an important role in this film with Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Karl Urban as Eomer, and Billy Boyd as Pippin (oldest hobbit). His presence will also show how Sauron has been dominating Middle Earth for years by gathering all nine rings of power.

The Arda Conventions

1) The Rings of Power will only grant their power if they are unbroken. 2) If a ring breaks, it means that someone is trying to get more power than they have already, with this person possibly going as far as to try taking another ring, or many rings. 3) It also means that there is an unknown force in our world who wants to use the power of the ring for its own purposes. 4) A third possibility is that either Sauron himself has destroyed a ring, or he has found one from somewhere else and broken it himself.

The White Council

When it comes to elves, there are few who rival their power, wisdom, and all-around badassery like the Elves of Lord of The Rings. One particular Elven member of this powerful assembly is Elrond Half-Elven; heir to the House of Eärendil and wielder of great power over light magic. While not seen as often as Galadriel or Celeborn, Elrond proves himself a vital part of the White Council’s opposition to Sauron in both movies and books.

After Gandalf warns them that they should not underestimate the Necromancer (Sauron), he then sends a small company led by Aragorn to confirm the situation in Dol Guldur while he leads the rest back to Rivendell for safety.

The Lady Galadriel

Galadriel is one of The Lord of the Rings’ most intriguing characters, able to see into others’ hearts with a simple glance. On a broader level, she represents purity and kindness who faces down Sauron by rejecting her temptation in order to protect her realm as well as others. There are two final details about my character that I hope will satisfy your curiosity – firstly, my character was at the coronation of King Elessar when he was declared High King; secondly, my character had to fight off an orc assault on Lothlórien alongside Glorfindel.

The Lord Celeborn

Elrond, known as Elvellon or Elf of the Vine in Sindarin, was a prominent character in Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. Originally from Aman, he was King Gil-galad’s herald during most of Middle-earth’s Third Age (the part of Earth’s history when Sauron threatened it with war). He helped lead the forces of Elves and Men during the War of Wrath at this time too.

The Longbeard Dwarves

If you’re looking for a hard-working people that are true to their word, consider hiring Longbeard Dwarves! All jokes aside, they are great at building anything from new structures to defending them with more fortifications than you can shake a stick at. From an impenetrable defense like Helm’s Deep in The Lord of the Rings or the perfect machine such as siege towers or catapults that helped win the War of Dwarves and Dragons against an evil king – they’ll never let you down!

To Journey or Not to Journey…That is the Question?

In The Lord of the Rings, the three Elven rings are collectively called The Rings of Power. Whether or not this makes it worth taking a risk is up for debate, but in any case, I advise staying as far away from these Rings as possible because they do not only corrupt their user but also everything around them

Princess Arwen Undómiel

Elrond is known for being wise, powerful, compassionate, humble and diplomatic – in short, a master of diplomacy. This includes being knowledgeable about The Rings of Power: their crafting and destruction. He opposed the destruction of The One Ring because he believed that Sauron would either corrupt or come back himself after it was destroyed.

Prince Legolas Greenleaf

Legolas is one of the few Elves that fought for both Men and Elves in The Lord of the Rings, often humorously commenting on both races’ (and different) choices and deeds throughout his adventures with Gimli, Aragorn, Gandalf, Frodo Baggins, Bilbo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee and a number of other companions in their quests. He also made an appearance as a Lego minifigure in The Lord of His Rings video game released by Warner Bros.

Who played Daniel Stark in Game of Thrones?

Daniel was born in Spain in 1991, and moved to England with his family when he was five years old. Growing up, he loved making models out of Lego blocks – a trait that eventually helped him make elaborate set pieces in Game of Thrones, an HBO fantasy series adapted from George R.R. Martin’s novels, A Song of Ice and Fire.

Where is Robert Aramayo from?

Robert Aramayo was born in 2000 in Lancaster, England. He first learned of being cast as Elrond when he received a phone call from his agent about two weeks before shooting for Thorin Oakenshield began filming (2017). He then thought of Gandalf and how Thorin was seeking after him throughout The Hobbit trilogy (2012-2014) for advice, help, and instruction.

Is Robert Aramayo in mindhunter?

I was absolutely delighted to read an interview with Robert Aramayo in which he discussed what it was like playing Elrond, one of my favorite characters from The Lord of the Rings franchise. In Tolkien’s universe, Elves are only mortal when they take on human forms; when they return to their elven selves, they regain their immortality and so can never grow old or die a natural death.
