Andrea Riseborough Portrays Mrs. Wormwood
Andrea Riseborough, best known for her roles in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Made in Dagenham, and Shadow Dancer has been cast as Mrs. Wormwood. This will be Andrea’s return to the stage after a six-year hiatus. She is no stranger to performing on stage, having been nominated for an Olivier award for her performance as Jenny in London Road.

Stephen Graham Portrays Mr. Wormwood
Stephen Graham was born on August 3, 1973, in the small town of Kirkby, Lancashire, England. His father was a pediatrician and his mother was a part-time teacher. After graduating from school at age 16, he studied history at the University of Manchester before dropping out to pursue an acting career. He made his professional debut in 1996 as a drug dealer in the British series The Bill. He has since appeared in several movies and TV series including Harry Potter, Boardwalk Empire, and This Is England.
Stephen Graham’s recent projects include portraying Dr. Ian Dennison on the popular series Peaky Blinders and starring as one of the lead characters, Ogie Banks, in Netflix original film Gypsy.

Alisha Weir Portrays Matilda Wormwood
Alisha Weir was born September 26,2009 in Dublin,Ireland. She is an actress, known for Matilda(2022). Alisha began her career as a child actress in the BBC series The Phoenix. She is also known for her roles in The Golden Compass (2007) and The Kid Who Would Be King (2019). Her latest role is Matilda Wormwood in Matilda(2022), adapted from the Tony and Olivier award-winning musical. The production stars six-year-old Tracie Bennett in the title role, with Lara Pulver playing Miss Honey and Harriet Walter taking on the iconic role of Miss Trunchbull. I have never played anyone like Matilda before so I am really looking forward to finding out what it feels like to be clever and resourceful when faced with difficult challenges, says Weir. The new production will open at London’s Cambridge Theatre on March 4th 2020 until July 1st 2020.

He is currently filming for Lady Macbeth with Florence Pugh and co-starring in BBC2’s Gentleman Jack. He attended his first theatre show aged 4 at Warwick Arts Centre’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, from then on he knew that he wanted to be an actor – I think ever since I was four years old I wanted to be an actor.
Katherine Kingsley Portrays Evil Stepmother
Katherine Kingsley is a British actress. Born on Christmas Eve 1981 and raised in Cambridge,England, Katherine is best known for her roles in Matilda as Mrs. Wormwood and The Woman in Black as Mrs. Kipps. She will soon be seen on Broadway as Mrs. Wormwood, joining the cast of this marvelous new adaptation of Roald Dahl’s most beloved children’s story. Bebe Massey Portrays Matildas Classmate
In January/February this year Bebe filmed a named speaking role for a major Hollywood series. The series has not yet been released but is being filmed by one of Hollywood’s leading production companies. Bebe had to audition in Los Angeles and was picked out of many other young actors due to her raw talent and ability to adapt quickly in different environments. The filming took place over three days, which allowed Bebe time to return home after work to maintain her busy school schedule.
The shoot was such an incredible experience that it helped convince Bebe that she wants to pursue acting as a career after graduation from high school next year.

His theatre credits include: A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Quince/Puck/Lord Fairy (Bristol Old Vic), The Tempest as Ariel (Coventry Theatre Company), Comedy Of Errors as Antipholus Of Syracuse (Salisbury Playhouse), Twelfth Night as Olivia’s Servant Girl and Viola’s Servant Boy (Birmingham Stage Company).

Bruce Bogtrotter is a boy who loves cake. He’s also the boy who gets his entire body stuck in a cake, making him an outcast at his school. But when he’s given one slice of a chocolate cake that he actually likes, he starts to realize that maybe being different might not be so bad after all.
Charlie Hodson-Prior has played numerous roles on Broadway as well as film and television productions. He made his Broadway debut in The Lion King as Simba, and other stage credits include Annie Get Your Gun (Eddie), Jekyll & Hyde (Young Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde), and Les Misérables (Marius).
Leon Ung Portrays Matilda’s Class
Leon Ung is a freshman at Brown University, double-majoring in Economics and East Asian Studies. This will be his first time performing on stage in a musical. The best part about this role for Leon is that he gets to go back to London, where he’s from and where his parents are originally from.
Leon wants people to know that everybody has their own story because everybody has their own set of experiences that they can bring to an audition or rehearsal room.
Serrana Su-Ling Bliss Portrays Child Ensemble
Serrana Su-Ling Bliss is known for Belfast (2021), Enola Holmes 2 (2022) and Matilda (2022). Serrana has been acting since she was 3, and is seen as a very promising young actress. She’s been in productions with her mother, who is also an actress, but Serrana does not do many interviews.

She then went onto film Enola Holmes 2 (in which she played one half of a Chinese sister act alongside Mia Li. Her most recent role has been as Matilda Wormwood in a New York adaptation of Roald Dahl’s novel starring Jimmy Fallon that opened last December to rave reviews – four months after filming ended.

Isla Brill Portrays Child Ensemble
Isla Brill is an actress who is best known for her roleaspart of the child ensemble in the stage adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Matilda. She has played the role since the show opened on Broadway in 2013. In addition to her work on Broadway, she has been seen Off-Broadway at Ars Nova and as Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden at Lincoln Center Theater. Ms. Brill was a guest star in Netflix’s popular series Stranger Things as Erica Sinclair. Her other credits include performing with Saturday Night Live performer Kenan Thompson at Carnegie Hall, and originating the roles of Gretchen Gorse in George Stiles and Anthony Drewe’s musical Closer Than Ever. She made her professional debut singing with John Cameron Mitchell on a symphonic world tour of Hedwig And The Angry Inch followed by starring alongside Mitchell again during his one man show Hurt Village (in which he played Johnny Cash).

She has played many roles on stage including Cecily Cissy Chatterley in Peaceful Tomorrows and Dorothy Brown in The Crows That Went to War. Matthew Warchus was born on October 24, 1966 in Rochester, Kent, England, UK. Matthew attended Oxford University and graduated with a First Class degree in English. He was a member of the Footlights Dramatic Club. After working as an assistant director at Oxford Playhouse and an associate director at The Old Vic Theatre in London, he directed his first play at age 24 in 1991: The Life of Galileo by Bertolt Brecht. Matthew lives in London with his wife and two children. In 1992, he became Artistic Director of the West Yorkshire Playhouse and remained there until 1999. From 1999-2002, he ran Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre where his productions included Hamlet (2000) which transferred to Broadway’s Broadhurst Theatre for a limited run; A Streetcar Named Desire (2001), which toured nationally to great acclaim; Coram Boy (2002); A Woman Killed With Kindness (2004) and Moll Flanders (2005). In 2002, Matthew became Artistic Director of the National Theatre of Great Britain.
