Maddy is probably my favorite part about being in this movie. When we were shooting scenes together, it felt so real because we would talk to each other as if we were actually sisters. When Maddy would say something funny or do something crazy, I felt so happy inside. Sometimes when you’re on set, it can be really hard to act natural around your co-stars or when you have a scene partner that you don’t know very well. But for some reason I never had any problems with India! It was as if I had known her forever!

Claudie Blakley Portrays Jess, Trevor’s ex-wife

Jess is a smart and successful woman who has her life together. She’s Trevor’s ex-wife, but they remain on good terms for the sake of their son, Dylan. Claudie Blakley brings Jess to life with her charm and wit. You can’t help but root for her, even when she’s going up against Trevor in court. I don’t want to give too much away about this character, but I will say that you’ll see both sides of her story. There are times where she may come off as shrewish or unreasonable, but then there are moments where you feel sorry for her or understand why she feels hurt by Trevor. Claudie Blakley does an amazing job of portraying these complex emotions through Jess’ eyes. At first it seems like she just wants what’s best for her son, but then we get glimpses into how she felt during their marriage and how devastating it was when he left.

Tom Basden Portrays the Police Officer

Tom Basden is a British actor, writer, and comedian who is best known for his work on the sketch comedy series That Mitchell and Webb Look. He has also appeared in films such as Hot Fuzz and Tormented. In Man vs. Bee, he plays the role of a police officer who is called to the scene of a bee infestation. He is initially skeptical of the situation but soon realizes that the bees are a real threat. After being informed by Paul (Jack Gore) that they have already been stung before, the officer panics and flees from the hive with others at hand. When Sarah (Emily Beecham) returns with food, the bees swarm her car only to be thwarted by some sugar water. The officer tries to swat them away but ends up attracting more and more bees until it becomes an all-out brawl. Eventually, a new customer arrives with honey cakes, luring the bees into eating it until they all fall asleep. Once again safe from harm, the customer reveals himself to be Rick (Kris Marshall), who had started the whole ordeal in order to promote his restaurant’s newest dish: honey cake.
