How I Picked The Title
Now, more than ever, entrepreneurs are turning to alternative sources of funding for their ventures. While Kickstarter is great for getting your project funded, it’s also good for connecting with an audience and showing you there’s a demand for your product or service. For example, if you have an idea for glasses designed specifically to help those who suffer from migraines. You could start a campaign on Kickstarter and show people how much they’re willing to invest in something that will hopefully work.
How I Broke The Story Into Loglines
I broke down into 5 loglines. A logline is like a mini pitch, it’s an easy way to convey what your idea is about. It’s hard to distill something so broad and complex into one sentence, but you have to try if you want to break your story into marketable chunks. Here are my 5 loglines
From Loglines To Outline
To start writing your script, you’ll need to create an outline. Start by reading through your logline again and thinking about how you want to structure your story. How many acts do you want? Do you have enough characters or locations? Does one character dominate or support another? These are all questions that should be answered in your outline.
An Actor’s Touch
Catherine Keener plays Maya Sorian, a cutthroat businesswoman who drives most of the action. Playing opposite her are talented actors like Zachary Quinto (Logan Marshall-Green), who is best known for playing Dr. Martin Sweet on Syfy’s Alphas and shows like American Horror Story and Gossip Girl; and Jon Bernthal, best known for his portrayal of Shane Walsh on AMC’s The Walking Dead.
