Will Jamie Foxx be in Spider-Man: No Way Home?

It’s unclear at present whether or not Jamie Foxx will reprise his role as Max Dillon / Electro in Spider-Man: No Way Home. He did reprise his role from Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), so it’s possible he could appear briefly, but we won’t know for sure until closer to production on next year’s Spidey flick. – source

Why does Jamie Foxx Electro look different?

Jamie Foxx stars as Max Dillon, aka Electro, in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) both portrayed Dillon as a simple electrical engineer who develops electromagnetic abilities that enable him to harness electricity at will. How does Spider-Man: No Way Home handle his origin? Why is he called Electro? What type of powers does he have?

Will Electro be in Spider-Man: No Way Home?

As most fans know, actor Jamie Foxx has appeared as Spider-Man villain Electro in a number of movies and video games. His performance is often praised as one of the best portrayals of Electro yet. So now that he’s back for Spider-Man: No Way Home, will he be reprising his role as Max Dillon / Electro? If so, it may not be wise to bring him back for another outing – because his character is already overused and could get old after too many appearances.

Why is Electro not blue in No Way Home?

In Amazing Spider-Man 2, Jamie Foxx’s character Max Dillon / Electro was a blue-ish color, while in Spider-Man: No Way Home he is yellow. Most likely because Marc Webb didn’t have time to add Blue screen sequences and have them composited into each shot, so they made an executive decision to switch his color scheme. The post Civil War trailer revealed that there may be some major changes to Electro’s look for future films as well.
