I’m so excited to share with you that one of our Season 3 contestants from Colorado, Holly Scarfone, was named a finalist on the Too Hot to Handle show! This television series seeks out the best up-and-coming fashion designers in the nation, and Holly made it to the top 10 in the entire country. She’s been working hard on her fashion line, and I’m thrilled to see all of her hard work paying off! Meet Holly Scarfone
Hi, I’m Holly. I am living in Colorado and working as an actor and model. In October 2016, I tried out for the third season of Too Hot to Handle in order to have a new adventure. Once it became clear that I was one of the show’s finalists, I faced many challenges. With some help from my friends and family, though, we were able to get through those challenges together. When I won the competition, it felt like all my hard work had finally paid off. It also reminded me how important support networks are. Now that Too Hot to Handle has ended, I want to continue pursuing acting and modeling opportunities while focusing on making sure others feel supported along their own journeys.
Holly’s journey so far
Coming back for her third time on Too Hot to Handle, Holly has been an aspiring model since she was young. Known for being quirky and spontaneous, she says she will always love taking risks in front of the camera, but will also explore all other creative outlets if modeling doesn’t work out. All of that risk-taking paid off when Holly became one of the three finalists who competed at the Los Angeles finale. Her favorite moment? Sharing an impromptu kiss with her now boyfriend at the challenge, which turned into a romantic date afterwards.
Episode 1 – The Fantasy Suite episode
In the first episode of season 3, Holly Scarfone finally received her fantasy suite date and had a chance to give her answers in person. It was one week before the end of the show, so that meant one more week for Holly’s suitors’ dates before she would be sent home. Once she revealed how she felt about each man in front of him, Eric made it known that he had his work cut out for him.
Episode 2 – Back at the House episode
Season 3 has started, and so has the house drama. Returning after the reunion show, it was an explosive episode from start to finish. I’m excited for everyone to see what’s in store for them this season as I discuss all of my thoughts about what I saw on TV. We have new roommates coming in soon, and that means new drama! I can’t wait to see how everything unfolds. The team will be with me every step of the way, just like they were during the first two seasons.
Episode 3 – The Hometowns episode
On the season finale of Season 3, five contestants are competing for their chance at $5 million. For one person, this is their last episode as they choose between coming back as a new player or retiring from the show with the money they’ve won.
What will happen when these five singles head home? Will they be able to settle down? Or will they start looking for love elsewhere? Stay tuned to find out.
Episode 4 – The Dates episode
Episode 4 featured the beginning of Holly’s dates with 3 possible suitors. The first date was with Steve, the director of an investment firm in New York City. The date was going great until he dropped something and tried to use Holly’s foot as a stepping stool. Holly said it wasn’t a deal breaker and she wanted him to know that he was still in the game.
The second date was with JZ, owner of online gaming company Final Reality Games.
Episode 5 – The Elimination Episodes
When Holly was eliminated in Episode 5, she did not want to be done. But all she could do was try and prove herself, which she did in Episode 10.
She realized that what made her different from the other competitors were her dedication and love for bodybuilding.
Holly wins 2nd place!
WOW what an incredible ride it has been. I can’t thank you enough for your love and support throughout the journey. In the end, I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of everything. 2nd place just might be even better than 1st! The two guys that were finalists were both super sweet and wanted me to win as much as I did. We had some really fun moments in the competition that made me laugh so hard I cried (I’m still not sure if they were laughing at me or with me). Thank you so much for following my blog through this experience.
What’s next? Well, since we’re finally done filming, there will be no more posts here until after the show airs in late January 2020 on MTV.
Episodes 6 & 7 Recap Show
In episode 6, Holly breaks up with her boyfriend after she’s decided that the serious commitment he’s been pushing for isn’t something she wants. It seems like they’re back together again by the end of the episode, but we don’t get much more closure than that. Episode 7 starts with her and her new beau, Zack O’Leary.
Final week recap show & winner announcement
Final week recap show and winner announcement: Each person gets 30 seconds to showcase their favorite dishes from the season, followed by 5 minutes of answering judges’ questions. The winner was revealed and celebrated. They also got an opportunity to take a trip with friends or family for free courtesy of SPG (Starwood Preferred Guest).
I learned about some cooking techniques I didn’t know before and that’s really important because it makes me feel like I can try new things at home when I cook.
I’m going to give my mom all the recipes so she can recreate them at home in Chicago.
