Kevin Dias Portrays Benoît
One of the most exciting parts of writing Emily in Paris is getting to cast the show. We have a lot of fun with that process, but it can also be difficult because we always want our guest stars to feel like a part of the family. That was especially true for Benoît, Mindy’s love interest on the show. After casting Kevin Dias, he immediately felt at home on set and became fast friends with all the other actors. So when I found out that he had to go back to France due to work commitments there, I was heartbroken and worried about how it would affect Mindy’s storyline this season.
