About Elite
Elite is a Netflix Original series, meaning that it’s not distributed on television and has its own exclusive platform for viewers to watch. It stars Marina Sánchez, who plays a role of Macarena Granada. She wasn’t exactly excited about going to a boarding school until she met Marina Silva Álvarez, or Marina Nunier as she’s called in real life. The two quickly bonded over their shared love of books and literature.

Is Elite a good show?
Elite is a Netflix original series based on Rosalía Merino’s novel Una serie de calamidades, about teenagers who live in a prestigious private school. The students of Las Encinas have all their needs met by expensive cars and security men. Elite follows Marina, Joaquín, and their friends as they try to figure out who killed Álvaro. In each episode there are multiple murders that lead to one massive ending.

The first episode is dark, moody and gives you a taste of what is to come in later episodes. Much like The OA, I was a little confused at points but intrigued enough to continue. Elena María de la Soledad Rosalinda Fernández García de la Sierra y Álvarez de Toledo, a new student from Mallorca, who will soon become an Elite and Marina Nunier (also from Mallorca), who is not accepted to study in Elite. It is one of those series with a lot of plots and subplots so for not having watched it yet but after watching just two episodes my interest in seeing what happens next has increased tremendously.

Is Elite a true story?
The Elite TV series is inspired by a true story. The story of Marina Núñez (Leonor Watling) is based on that of María José Rienda, from Spain’s La Manada trial. Like Marina, Rienda and five friends were found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman at Pamplona’s bull running festival in 2016.
Is Elite appropriate for 13 year olds?
Elite is only appropriate for mature teenagers. This show is extremely graphic and gory, but has a really interesting premise that makes it worth watching. As mentioned above, there is a lot of bad language and sexual content in Elite, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone under 15-16.
Is Elite finished?
Fans of Elite have had to say goodbye to their favorite series on Netflix, but don’t worry—Elite isn’t over yet. Marina Nunier, an employee at Netflix, recently confirmed that a third season is currently in production and slated for release next year. While we don’t know much about what to expect from season three, we can hope that Daniel Torres will get his happy ending he deserves. Elite fans will be watching out for any information regarding Elite Season 3 as it becomes available.

Why is Cayetana a janitor?
You can’t be blamed for wondering why Cayetana, played by actress Ana Fernández, is a janitor at all. Her parents are rich and she lives in an enormous mansion with a gorgeous view of Barcelona. (Maybe it’s just nice to have something to do that doesn’t involve going out and partying?)
What is the Prince secret in Elite?
One of my favorite things about Elite is that I can’t point to one thing and say That’s what makes it great. The series, like many of its characters, has layers. It could be argued that what makes Elite tick is simple—the suspense or mystery elements—but for me, it goes a bit deeper than that. Each episode weaves in and out of secrets being exposed and secrets being created, which helps keep you on your toes and second-guessing yourself.
Does Phillip like Cayetana?
In Elite, Phillip is a rich kid who is obsessed with Cayetana. This doesn’t last long, however. In fact, he actually hates her so much that he has her boyfriend beaten up and he also plays a crucial role in causing Cayetana to fall from a balcony. It’s clear Phillip is not all there.
Does Nadia end up with Guzman?
The original source material is specific on who Nadia ends up with. Perhaps based on their chemistry, it seems like a foregone conclusion that Guzman and Nadia will be together by season’s end, but I don’t know for sure. To be honest, I didn’t notice much chemistry between them so far.
