After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed has been thriving in both his career and personal life. After winning a title of his own, Adonis spends more time with Bianca (Tessa Thompson) and their newborn son, who has been born since the events of Creed II. But trouble looms on the horizon as he is challenged to defend his heavyweight title against the Russian contender, Viktor Drago. Bellew was born on October 10th, 1983 in Liverpool, Merseyside to Polish parents. His original nickname is Pretty Ricky Conlan, but he has been nicknamed The Bomber or Bomber Bellew. Bellew had a successful amateur career before turning pro. He won the ABA Championships at Heavyweight and went undefeated as an amateur with 17 wins. Bellew made his debut against Craig Lewis which he won by knockout in the second round. After four more victories, he faced veteran Michael Sprott whom he knocked out in the third round with one punch after Sprott had pushed him down twice earlier in the fight before being warned by referee Steve Graydon.
In 2006, Bellew suffered three consecutive defeats against tough opponents Dereck Chisora, Daniel Ghita, and Ruslan Chagaev before going on to win five more bouts including beating former world champion Ray Austin twice.
