What made you choose this role?
I was super excited to join The Vampire Diaries. One of the reasons I originally said no to the role is because I wasn’t completely sure what it was about. I had never heard of the books, but after reading a couple of pages, I knew that it was something special and I definitely wanted to be a part of it.
What would you like to do next?
With regards to returning to The Vampire Diaries, I’m really open. If you called me and said, We want you for an episode in season eight, I would say yes without a second thought. If they asked me to come back as a series regular in season eight or beyond? Oh my gosh! That is not a conversation that we have had. It’s not in my head because it has never been presented to me.
If you could play any other character on TV what would it be?
I’d love to play something that I haven’t really had a chance to play before, maybe like an evil queen or a mean girl. I just want something fun and different! I think it would be a blast.
What is your favorite moment from being on The Vampire Diaries?
It’s a toss up between my first day of work, shooting The Night of The Comet (when I first met Matt Davis who plays Alaric on The Vampire Diaries) and when I had a scene with Paul Wesley (who plays Stefan on The Vampire Diaries). These were also 2 of my favorite scenes that they have ever done on TVD.
Is there anything about yourself that fans don’t know yet?
I like to tell people that I wasn’t particularly a science fiction fan until I got on The Vampire Diaries. That’s not to say I didn’t watch sci-fi growing up, but when it came to what TV shows or movies I would watch, sci-fi was never really my choice.
How many tattoos do you have?
I have six tattoos, one on each of my arms, and I actually have a seventh in progress. It’s sort of been in progress for a while; it’s on my back and still has a bit to go.
Who are your style icons?
Candice says that she admires Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce’s style and often emulates their look. She also thinks Elle Fanning has a great, effortless sense of style. When it comes to picking out clothes for an event, Candice likes to pick up different pieces at different stores—she never buys all her clothing from one place. This way, if you see someone wearing something you like at another party, you can buy it or re-create your own version of it.
What would you change about TVD if you could?
Candice King, who plays Caroline Forbes on The Vampire Diaries, has some choice words for her character as well as her love interest Tyler Lockwood. She revealed she’d like to see more depth added to her character and hoped a love triangle would be introduced between her, Elena and Bonnie. Candice also hopes TVD introduces a new character that will make an impact with Tyler Lockwood because she doesn’t like watching him pine after Elena Gilbert.
Are Damon,Elena and Caroline going to be in legacies?
Fans can rest assured that The Vampire Diaries has not completely killed off its famous love triangle. Since Elena (Nina Dobrev) decided to return to Mystic Falls and take her father’s place as The Anchor, fans have wondered how Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will adjust. [Damon]’s just not okay with it, Dobrev said.
How does Caroline turn back into a human after being a dog?
The other cast and crew members were surprised when Candice King, who plays Caroline on The Vampire Diaries, came back to set as a human. The actress had been out of town and returned to set with brown hair and furry ears. After taking off her wig to reveal her new look, she revealed it was all part of a promotional campaign for dog rescue group CorgiAid. CorgiAid is very close to my heart, said Candice, whose dog Hugo passed away a few years ago.

I love earrings, and I would wear them every day if I could. When we filmed The Vampire Diaries, there were a few sets of custom earrings that we got to choose from for each character on set.
What episode does Klaus tell Cami about Caroline?
The gang has just found out that Cami is a witch. She has to learn how to work with Tyler and Stefan, but she doesn’t seem to be making much progress. When Klaus shows up for a visit, he explains that Cami might not make it through her transition without someone who can teach her more about witchcraft. He tells her about Caroline, who was also a witch before she was turned into a vampire. Unfortunately, Klaus has already killed Caroline in self-defense.
Who played Caroline’s coed in season 6 episode 17 of TVD?

He’s also Bonnie and Stefan’s grandfather, which was super cool to find out and I think it will open up some interesting dynamics between him and everyone else. He has some great scenes with both Matt Davis and Colin O’Donoghue that were so much fun to shoot. And he has a bit of an adventure with Landon [Davis] too!
